Our mission is to create meaningful opportunities for artists to share their work both locally and around the world. Through community art markets, exhibitions, and special events across Hawaiʻi, we help artists connect with collectors, build their professional careers, and strengthen Hawaiʻi's creative community. At the same time, we believe art has the power to bridge cultures, creating opportunities for artists to reach new audiences while building sustainable creative careers.

Japan Tour Summer 2026
In the summer of 2026, Waveline Collective proudly brought 11 Hawaiʻi artists to Japan for our first international art tour, creating meaningful opportunities to share Hawaiʻi's creative spirit with new audiences abroad.
Participating artists included Ana Lucia Gardeazábal, Becky Bennett, Danielle Burnside, Hilton Alves, Steven Kean, Miyuki, Sarah Caudle, Sarcreate, Sophia Noel, Tracy Tayama, and Two Seas Arts.
The tour featured a series of exhibitions and community events across three regions of Japan, including a showcase at Hankyu Department Store in Umeda, Osaka, an exhibition with Aloha Spirit Gallery in Kamakura, Kanagawa, and the Surf Jam Festival in Isumi, Chiba.

Throughout the tour, artists exhibited original artwork, met collectors and supporters, signed artwork, and connected with local communities through live painting demonstrations, hands-on workshops, and the creation of a live mural.
Beyond the gallery walls, the tour reflected Waveline Collective's commitment to building genuine cultural connections through creativity and service. Artists participated in a community beach cleanup alongside local volunteers and gathered with supporters for a beach barbecue, creating opportunities to exchange stories, celebrate shared values, and build lasting friendships through art.
More than an international exhibition, the Japan Art Tour provided artists with valuable professional experience, expanded their global audience, and fostered relationships that continue to create opportunities beyond the tour itself. This milestone marked an important step toward Waveline Collective's vision of helping Hawaiʻi's artists grow sustainable creative careers while sharing the unique stories, culture, and spirit of Hawaiʻi with communities around the world.
